Meeting the photographer

Updated: Jun 9, 2019

This is one of the biggest days of your life, do you really want Facebook remaining you each year that you hired a bad photographer? You should have good memories of the day, this is why meeting the photographer before your big day is a must!

Every photographer does it different and each couple is different, but this is how I try to work (most of the time). I will arrange a date and time that suites you, weekend, after work, lunch time.

  • The first meeting is where we meet face to face. I offer a no obligation couples shoot so you can see what I do and how I do it before you make any decisions no handpicked portfolio images like most photographers, you get to see you in my photos this helps you decide if me and my style are right for you.

  • About a month before the wedding, I tend to sit down with the couple to discuss everything. Photo list of photos you want to see in your album, timings for the day, basically any major details you think I should know.

  • The last one isn't really a meeting its more of a catch up a week before the wedding to make sure all of my notes are right, and nothing has changed. You don’t want your photographer completely lost because the timings of the day have changed. Depending on schedules, this would probably be an email.
